Anniversary PK61 table by Poul Kjaerholm for Fritz Hansen.
To commemorate 150 years of Fritz Hansen, the PK61 coffee table is available with a new grey-white Norwegian marble tabletop sourced from Fauske, near the Arctic Circle. The marble is special as it resembles the original Porsgrunn marble preferred by Poul Kjærholm which is unfortunately no longer available.
The marble surface has a rolled finish and presents a beautiful wave structure. Each marble tabletop is unique and is characterized by beautiful mineral inclusions, which reflect the light with a peculiar sparkle that reminds either of gold or clear diamond.
The table is an epitome of outstanding simplicity. Poul Kjaerholm created many of his tables to complement one or more of his chairs and sofa.
