Designed by John & Wonhee Arndt of STUDIO GORM, Stop is an innovative doorstop made from discarded shoe soles. The studio chose the material due to its durable and slightly flexible properties, which are ideal for use as a doorstop.

Unlike standard wedge-shaped doorstops, Stop has a unique flat-coned form, making it easier to use. The shape also means the doorstop is not hidden when in use, thus creating it an exciting design feature in your space.

The Oregon-based duo have a playful approach to materials gained through their background in sculpture and craft. Their designs often centre on culture, history and technology whilst considering how objects evolve to fit the needs of modern life.
